We provide camping equipment, but some personal gear is recommended. If you need additional equipment, rentals are available at our office in Moshi.

Basic Equipment

  • – Sleeping Bag: Provided, but it’s advisable to bring your own if it fits in your duffel.
  • – Duffle Bag/Rucksack: A 60-80L waterproof bag for your main gear, carried by a porter.
  • – Daypack: A 30-40L daypack for essentials during the trek.
  • – Trekking Poles: Adjustable trekking poles are recommended to reduce joint stress.
  • – Water Bladder/Bottles: 3 liters capacity is ideal. Bring two 1.5L bottles or an extra 1L bottle in addition to your water bladder.

Headwear
