Upon your arrival at Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, our team will greet you and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha city for a restful overnight stay. Relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.
After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 AM and embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, located 115 km from Arusha. This park spans 2,800 square kilometers and is named after the Tarangire River, which serves as a vital water source for the wildlife.
Spend the day on a thrilling game drive, exploring Tarangire’s renowned landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees and witnessing large herds of elephants, climbing pythons, and abundant wildlife such as lions, leopards, and more. In the late afternoon, head to Jambo Lodge for a well-deserved dinner and overnight stay.
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast at 6:30 AM before departing for the Ngorongoro Crater. As you descend into this vast caldera, you’ll be greeted by breathtaking views and a wide array of wildlife, including the Big Five. Keep an eye out for the elusive black rhino, and admire the flocks of flamingos gathering around the crater’s alkaline lakes.
Enjoy a packed lunch inside the crater, surrounded by nature’s wonders, before continuing your exploration. Ngorongoro is famous for being the largest unbroken caldera in the world, formed millions of years ago after a volcanic explosion. Declared one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders, the crater is home to 7,000 wildebeest, 6,000 hyenas, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 gazelles, 300 elephants, 55 lions, 30 black rhinos, and many other species. After a full day, return to your lodge for a restful evening.
After breakfast, depart for a full-day adventure at Lake Manyara National Park. Famous for its tree-climbing lions and large flamingo populations, Lake Manyara offers an extraordinary wildlife experience. You’ll also visit the park’s hot springs and enjoy stunning views of the lake’s shores teeming with birdlife.
In the afternoon, visit a Maasai Boma where you’ll experience the vibrant culture of the Maasai people. Learn about their way of life, traditions, and customs before heading back to Arusha in the evening for your final overnight stay.
